Today, I had the privilege of volunteering and experiencing a truly fulfilling day at WEA, and I can't help but share my enthusiasm for this extraordinary organization.
WEA; is not just an institution; it's a beacon of hope, learning, and unity that has touched countless lives over 110 incredible years.
The day was a whirlwind of activity, from dancing and singing to cooking and wine tasting.👏 I want to give a big shoutout to WEA Adult Learning, Lesley Venning , Kelly Hody and the entire team behind this event. Your dedication and hard work were evident in every aspect of the day, and you made it a huge success.
Seeing so many people connecting through WEA courses, and forging friendships that extend beyond the classroom warms my heart the most. For so many people, at the point of retirement, WEA isn't just a learning centre; it's a community catalyst that brings people together, combating social isolation and loneliness.
I feel immense pride in being part of this community and supporting WEA's incredible approach to uniting everyone through learning.
